The seats came out of my 66 GTO parts car which had a marina turquoise
interior and exterior. The GTO I'm restifying has a black interior,
so new bucket seat foam and seat covers in black were ordered. A
friend recovered them while I watched the process. It was interesting
watching him, I learned a lot, including why interior work is so expensive.
In exchange for my friend recovering the seats I gave him a Chevy 12 bolt
rear end that was under my 69 4-4-2 parts car that had 71 Grand Prix written
on it. He currently uses it in his 81 Malibu wagon race car.
I still need to paint the seat backs and side bolsters before I install
them on the seats.
